American Robin (Turdus migratorius)
This female Robin laid four eggs of which three chicks were born. Once the chicks were born, both parents spent most of their waking hours hunting food for their babies! It's no wonder as the babies had a voracious appetite! Even walking past the nest would send the chicks into a frenzy - heads would pop up, mouths opened squawking for food!
