Welcome! Bienvenue! Willkommen!

OPEN May 26, 2021
Closing end of September, 2021

Another crazy year on the horizon with the COVID-19 pandemic! We were very impressed with how respectful campers were with one another last season, maintaining social distancing, and sharing time at the pool. We continue to have the best campers staying here! We are looking forward to seeing everyone this summer! Stay safe! Same practices will be in effect with respect to COVID-19 as last season when we do open our gate.

On April 23, BC Public Health released new Public Health Orders which require people to stay in their respective Health Regions. Other orders have been issued under the Emergency Program Act (EPA). Most orders can be enforced by police and compliance and enforcement officials. These orders also pertain to travellers from other Provinces and Territories. Basically, only essential travel is permitted between regions, and inter-provincially. These orders are in effect until midnight on May 25th, 2021. In support of the effort to slow down the pandemic in our collective lives, we have made the decision to stay closed until May 26th. Our hope is that we can all enjoy a wonderful summer, if we do our part now!

This quiet, peaceful campground, is nestled in the forest near the base of the Rocky Mountains! A haven for wildlife, and campers alike, the campsites are built within 17 of the 80 forested acres that make up the Fort Steele Campground, providing lots of room for hiking and mountain biking, without leaving the premises! We are dog friendly, providing a large off leash area, and there are fire pits on EVERY campsite!

Close to lots of different activities, our campground has become famous for our exceptionally clean, heated swimming pool, not to mention your incredibly friendly hosts - Rhonda, Bob and Verne! No wonder the majority of campers are return visitors! Perhaps we'll see you too!
