Baby Robins (Turdus migratorius)
These
baby robins hatched a few days before this picture was
taken. Mom and Dad built their nest on the side of the
cabin before we opened for the season, so we enjoyed
watching their antics for the rest of the summer. These
birds are common throughout North America and are well
known. They can often be seen searching the grass for worms
and insects, first thing in the morning.
